New "Czar" for The Cleveland Browns?

As we all know by now, former Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers coach Mike Holmgren has spent the last two days meeting with the Cleveland Browns about running their football operations.

Browns owner Randy Lerner is looking for someone who is serious and a credible leader, well I think your man is standing right in front of you.

In the past, the Browns have had General Managers with little or no experience at all, and it has definitely showed with the product on the field.

Apparently the Browns have done some research this time, lets examine:

1.) He's from the Bill Walsh coaching tree and not the Bill Belichick one.

2.) He won a Superbowl as head coach of the Packers and would have won a second one, if not for
John Elway.

3.) He led the Seattle Seahawks to a Super Bowl appearance...so he's lead two different teams to the Superbowl...the man knows how to win football games.

4.) The man knows how to coach young quarterbacks, such as...Joe Montana, Steve Young, Brett Farve, and Matt Hasselbeck. If the Browns decide to keep Brady Quinn or draft a quarterback...I think we are in good shape.

The thing the Browns have lacked since returning to the NFL in 1999, is experience in the front office. Mike Holmgren has that experience the Browns need to fix the franchise.

Now he's going to have a difficult road ahead of him, if he wants the job. For example... if he should keep current head coach Eric Mangini. Alright, maybe that one's not so hard.

But before I get ahead of myself, three things need to happen. And they are...
A.) They Browns offer him the job
B.) He wants the job
C.) And the money is right

Mike Holmgren is the right man for the job, and Randy Lerner knows that. The City of Cleveland is hungry for a winner Mr. Lerner. On behalf of Browns fans everywhere, I say...make it happen!!!
